Mushroom alert: a push or email when your mushrooms are due
You pick a place, the species and a threshold. FungiFind keeps checking the weather forecast and gets in touch before a trip is worth it. The mushroom alert is part of the mushroom map.
How the mushroom alert works
- Choose a place: Tap your foraging spot on the map or search for a place. Each alert belongs to exactly one place.
- Species and threshold: Pick the species you are waiting for, or the overview of popular edibles. You can choose between the thresholds “find possible” and “good chance”, or set your own value.
- Lead time: Decide how many days ahead you want to be warned: 1, 3, 5 or 7 days.
- Push or email: The alert arrives as a push on your device, by email, or both. For email you confirm your address once. After an alert, the same alert pauses for 24 hours.

A notification from the FungiFind mushroom map. It gets in touch when weather conditions for your chosen species at your place rise above your threshold.
How many alerts can I set up?
Alert locations: Free 1, Plus 10, Pro unlimited.
How early am I warned?
You choose 1, 3, 5 or 7 days of lead time. The forecast is based on weather data for your chosen place.
Do I get push or email?
Both are possible. You allow push once on your device, and for email you confirm your address.
Does the alert guarantee a find?
No. The alert reports favourable weather conditions, not mushrooms and not edibility. Have every find identified by mushroom advice in person.
