Refund Policy

Withdrawal, goodwill refunds, and cancellation for FungiFind digital subscriptions

1. Provider & Merchant of Record

Digital purchases and subscriptions for FungiFind are processed by Paddle.com as the Merchant of Record (sale, billing, and invoicing).

App provider: LIFECO GmbH, Forsthausgasse 16-20/13/7, 1200 Vienna, Austria

Company register 502150g · VAT ID ATU73826167 · Email: kontakt@fungifind.org

2. EU 14-day right of withdrawal

EU consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts.

For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal ends early if you expressly consent to performance beginning before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m) Consumer Rights Directive).

3. Goodwill full refund (14 days)

Even if the statutory withdrawal right was validly waived for digital content, we will grant a full refund within 14 days of purchase on an informal request — goodwill, no reason required.

4. Accidental annual renewal

If an annual subscription (Plus or Pro) renews by mistake, we will refund the charge in full on request within 14 days of the charge.

5. Season Pass

The Season Pass (17.99 €) is a one-time payment for 2 months. There is no auto-renewal and no cancellation needed. The same goodwill rules as in section 3 apply.

6. How to request a refund

  • Email kontakt@fungifind.org with your Paddle invoice number, or
  • use the Paddle customer portal (link in your purchase confirmation / invoice).

We typically process requests within 5 business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

7. How to cancel (no pro-rata refund of remaining term)

You can cancel annual plans at any time:

  • in the app account settings (once available), or
  • via the link on your Paddle invoice / in the Paddle portal.

After cancellation, access continues until the end of the paid term. Then you return to the free tier; your data is kept.

Plan details: Pricing · Terms.

8. EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obliged and currently not willing to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
